  • They improve efficiency
  • They save cost.
  • They make a strong contribution to sustainability objectives.
  • They Staff A Boost. Whizzing along  with the wind on your face is energising. Energised staff perform better. Simple!
  • There are government incentives
  • They are now free of FBT (fringe benefit tax) when provided for staff (excludes mopeds)

Potential Uses of a PEV (Personal Electric Vehicle)

Incentivise staff to commute by personal electric vehicle (PEV). Save on car park provision, parking, petrol, plus vehicle servicing and wear-and-tear.

Visit local clients easily. PEV’s are point-to-point travel. No need to walk to a car, no need to walk from a carpark miles away from the actual destination. Take the scooter into the office you are visiting (and impress them with your modern thinking and environmental responsibility!)

Reduce wasted walking time. Large sites can result in many wasted hours per person per week just walking between locations. Electrify your workforce and watch them zip quickly to the next task.

Make interline journeys a breeze. Driving to a CBD? Why not pop a scooter in the car, park where parking is free and plentiful and scoot the last km to the final destination.

Electrify your deliveries. Local drop-offs? Make them quicker and greener with your PEV fleet. Brochures, products and produce move faster with electric mobility.

Our Process

Needs Assessment:

We will help you to look closely at your current transport framework, and identify opportunities where modern Personal Electric Vehicles (PEV’s) can replace more traditional transport modes, or enhance a slower process, such as walking between distant buildings multiple times a day.

Benefits Assessment:

We will help you assess the benefits in terms of operational costs and time savings to your business, and indicate the quantity of CO2 emissions that would be saved by making the switch to personal electric vehicles. We will also quantify what the investment could look like.

Recommendations:

We will make our recommendations to you based on your budget and the information shared during the first 2 stages of the process. We will put forward the specific vehicle types and models we feel best suit your needs, and offer a detailed explanation of our logic in reaching that conclusion.

Fulfilment, Follow-up and Aftercare

Most options are on-hand and can be delivered almost immediately. For very high quantities or specialised selections, there may be a lead-in time. We would discuss and agree this on a case-by-case basis.

We provide a team orientation session to familiarise staff with the new technology, answer any questions, and ensure safe usage.

We have an optional servicing package available, which covers off the Health & Safety requirements for corporate operation of the vehicles. Usually we can service on-site for our clients.

All our products carry a 12-month warranty.

Staff Specials

All our client companies qualify for generous discounts on our products for their staff. Even if going electric isn’t right for your business right now, you can still pass on discounts to any of your staff who want to purchase their own scooter, ebike or e-moped.

The exact offer would be discussed and agreed, but usually comprises a discount voucher plus free safety and security equipment to make the path to private PEV ownership as easy as possible.

We can conduct demonstrations and have-a-go sessions at your workplace, to encourage your team to look at sustainable transport options.

‘Staff Commuting’ is a core area of sustainability assessment criteria, so even just enabling your staff to improve their commute can make a big step forwards in reducing carbon footprint and creating a more sustainable business. And, your team will love you for it!

Commonly Asked Questions

Is it hard to ride an electric scooter?

An e-scooter requires an average level of personal mobility. The models we recommend to organisations are relatively low-powered, and they are super-simple to operate.

Is an e-scooter better than an ebike?

Sometimes. And sometimes not. It’s why we offer a range of products. E-Scooters are very portable and easy to stow away. They are extremely convenient and manoeuvrable. Ebikes are very stable, and some find them easier to use. There is a fitness benefit to using them, and you can extend the range by pedalling. They are also safer to ride in wet conditions.

How far can these personal electric vehicles go?

A lot depends on rider weight and terrain, but even our smaller scooters are capable of around 30 km in a day of flat-ground riding. E-bikes can easily achieve 80 kms range, with some rider effort, often considerably more.

What’s the range on an electric moped?

You are looking at around 50 km per charge.

Do I need a motorbike licence for a moped?

No, all our mopeds can be driven on a learner car licence, from age 16 upwards.
